This week’s Carnival of Education is up at The Tempered Radical. I don’t have a post in this one, but there’s a lot of good stuff. I particularly recommend that all you English teachers take a look at Michael Umphrey’s Who Needs English?: Teaching in the Wasteland. Mr. Umphrey doesn’t seem to have a comments function, so I’ll have to save my thoughts for a day when I have time to write a post about his ideas. In fact, one reason I’m looking forward to my Christmas holiday is that I’ll have more time to spend reading and writing about education once this pesky business of actually educating people wraps up for a while.
